Luxury Waterfront Stay!

Positive: Great location very clean Negative: Parking situation not clear

Unit ok but not great Positive: Unit was comfortable, suitable for 2 couples and in good location for dining. Negative: Inside unit was clean but entry stairs, front and back balconies all filthy. Parking an issue as it requires payment at a meter from 8am to 5pm - not good when raining. Also no easy drop off at unit as parking removed from apartment. As commented by others the outside sail over balcony very noisy when windy.

VeryIt was the most expensive place we stayed in and the most disappointing. Positive: The view Negative: Locks difficult to open, grubby stair entry, leaves, dirt, dead plants. (Owner blamed the neighbour) Smelly stale food from rear of downstairs cafes. No parking, especially when the appt had a garage. Inside poor basic maintenance, light globes blown, (in toilet and laundry) cracked PowerPoint switch, smelly, hot and airless in arrival, ( no cooling put on. ) front balcony, magnificent views but hadn’t been cleaned, dirt leaves and another dead plant. Balcony chairs had dried up bird poo on them ( We cleaned them) owner said it was a seaport so expect it. It wasn’t fresh, it hadn’t been cleaned. Dust not cleaned in main bedroom window, freezer draw not wiped out. Other minor irritants we would normally ignore but it all adds up ! The super host justified each issue I wrote about on the offensive, did offer to get toilet light globes fixed. (There was a third globe working) even if guys was a ‘cheap and cheerfull’ stay it should be clean and maintained. It was advertised luxury and cost luxury. The view was great and Launceston a beautiful city. We will return but never book there again. The view was the best thing which the host didn’t have to maintain !

The apartment was spotless and spacious when we arrived, although had a little distinctly locating it It would have been easier if there was a dedicated parking space. As the whole area was very full with cars on arrival

One of the best locations in Launceston and a very comfortable stay. Positive: Beautiful views and amazing location (especially for New years Eve- we watched the fireworks from the balcony). Excellent restaurants close by, walking distance to CBD and other attractions. Spacious lounge and well equipped kitchen. Having the laundry was amazing. Negative: Parking was a challenge and finding the property on the first day.
