City Park View Apartment - Walk to CBD

Comfortable, convenient, clean, short walk to City. Terraced units with parking on next level. Positive: The location was very good. The bed was large and very comfortable and the bedroom very spacious. A. very well equipped kitchen. Central to visiting towns nearby and supermarkets close by. Lovely outlook across to the park. The unit was clean and relatively quiet at night even though on a busy road. Negative: No table and chairs - told to eat on the couch or on the patio. The smoke alarm was stuck on the wall above the fridge. Smoke alarm should be hard wired into the ceiling where smoke gathers. TV had cord hanging down the wall and plugged into an extension lead. The NBN box was sitting on the floor surrounded by cords. The curtains were at least half a metre too long and draped across the floor. The fluorescent lights from the common corridors were on all night shining through the bathroom windows which opened onto the corridor. The bottom of the windows had been painted with white paint but the top let the light shine into the bedroom even with the bathroom door closed. Was marketed as a newly renovated apartment which some of it was, but gave the impression it had been thrown together in a hurry.
